- Do I need Paypal to make an order?
Nope! Although you can. When going to checkout, you will be asked if you would like to pay with your Paypal account if you have one, and if you don't, you can pay online through the Paypal checkout with your Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover card.
If you want to pay via Snail Mail with Cash or Money Order, email strikinoutrecords@gmail.com, and we will gladly take care of you. We currently do not accept Personal Checks.
- How secure is this store?
This store uses PayPal for payments, and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).
- How long will it take to get my order?
All regular orders (not including Pre-orders) will go out within about 5-7 days of the original purchase date. Shipping will usually take 2-3 business days for Domestic Orders, and 5-10 days for International Orders. Please be patient with your order. I run this label by myself while interning at a Design firm and having regular job at a Library as well, so sometimes it takes a little bit longer to get your order out than bigger labels like Bridge Nine and Deathwish.
Please contact us if it has been more than 3 weeks from the date of purchase and your item has not yet arrived. We will do our best to rectify the situation and get you what you ordered.
- How long do Pre-Orders generally take?
Each Pre-Order is different, and wait times differ depending on the release. When I put things up for Pre-Order, it usually means that the release in question is in the final stages of production (I.E. Waiting for the stuff to ship to me, packing and assembling, making inserts, etc.) but that may not always be the case.
With Pre-Orders, things can change, and delays can happen. If that is the case, you will be notified and it will be made clear that things are taking longer than they should. Usually in that situation I'll add some goodies to the Pre-Order, to thank you for being so patient. In the end, it's hard to tell when Pre-Orders will ship since every one is different, so just be on the lookout for plenty of periodic updates.
- Why aren't there more shipping options?
Due to being a current one man operation and not having a large or even existing shipping department, it's very hard to offer different methods of shipping and exact rates at the current time like some of the bigger labels do. The rates we have listed for each product are pretty standard prices for shipping something Media Mail or First Class through USPS (I.E. $2 to ship a CD, $2.50 for a T-Shirt, etc).
If for some reason there is a large difference in the cost of mailing your item vs. what you paid for postage, you will be refunded the difference (sometimes this can happen with International Orders, depending on the country you are ordering from).
- My order is damaged. Now what!?
I make sure to properly pack everything I ship so that it arrives in best possible condition, obviously. We all know the USPS can be fuckheads, and I've heard that lots of European mail carriers don't care enough to be careful, so things can get damaged.
